Local Domestic Helper

In order to meet the urgent needs of some employers, we have many foreign helpers available for employers' immediate choice. Employers can select suitable helpers on Sunlight's website, and then contact our staff to arrange appointment to meet in person and interview. Moreover, employers can select and interview with domestic helpers in one of our branches through computerized audio-visual system.

Through talk in person the employers can understand maids’ working experience and communicating skills and further employ at ease.

Designated Overseas Domestic Helper

Sunlight considers each customer's needs and do service for employers who wish to employ designated domestic helpers to work in Hong Kong. Sunlight can arrange for you from contacting the maid to applying procedures for domestic helper's entry to Hong Kong, so that the domestic helper can come to Hong Kong within the appointed time. In addition, Sunlight also provides comprehensive after-sales support services: in contract period customers will be free to re-enroll in training courses for the domestic helper in Hong Kong, which will make employers more satisfied with employing designated maids.

Note: Designated domestic helpers are those domestic helper which employers are familiar with and want to apply them directly from Philippines or Indonesia to work in Hong Kong

* If the designated maid fail to complete two-year contract, due to emigration, economic problems or death of previous employer, $1,000 additional charges is required.

Domestic helper’s contract renewal
If your existing employment contract will finish its 2-year full contract soon and you want to hire the domestic helper for another two years,
you need to apply for contract renewal.

Before contract renewal, please remember to check whether the domestic helper's VISA will soon expire or not. It is better for the employer to advance a month's time to apply for contract renewal, so as not to pay an additional VISA extension fee because of expiration of the domestic helper's VISA.

*For the above fees and exact terms, the regulations in the contract of agency will apply and prevail.          

Extend valid work permit and contract for one month
Employers, who want to extend the employment period for one month after the expiration of 24-month employment contract (that is, a total of 25 months), will be required to extend the period of employment contract and the maids' work permit. Sunlight can handle all these complicated procedures for you!

Extend the period of employment visa after expiration of passport
If the domestic helpes passport will expire before the expiry of the specified contract, the domestic helper will be required to go to the Hong Kong Immigration Department to apply for renewal of work permit after getting the new passport. Sunlight can handle it for you.
