Chi中 Eng英 Chinese Dishes - Abalone Mushroom with Fish Maw
Ingredient - Fish Maw 5 taels
- Sliced abalone mushroom 3 taels
- Choy sum 4 stalks
- Ginger 3 slices
- Spring onion 2 stalks

Seasoning- Water 6 taels
- Stock 3 tbsp
- Oyster sauce 1 tbsp
- Dark soy 1/2 tsp
- Corn Starch 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Sugar 1/2 tsp
- Chicken powder 1/4 tsp
Method- Soak fish maw.
- Saute ginger, spring onion. Put in water, salt and chicken powder. Bring to a boil and put in fish maw. Simmer for 10 minutes. Drain.
- Bring stock to a boil. Add abalone mushroom and cook for 2 minutes. Add fish maw and cook until done. Mix sugar, dark soy, oyster sauce and corn starch with water. Stir in and cook for a while until done.
