Soup - Sugar Cane, Cogongrass root, Carrot and Water Chestnut Drink

Ingredient

  • 1 bundle sugar cane (the hard and thin type, about 10 sticks)

  • 1 bundle Congongrass root (Mao Gen)

  • 12 water chestnut

  • 1 carrot

  • 6 bowls water

Method

  1. Wash sugar cane and cogongrass root.

  2. Peel water chestnut and wash then. Peel carrot and slice. Wash.

  3. Boil water. Put all ingredients into pot and simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes. Serve.
