Chinese Dishes - Braised E-fu noodles with cheese, pumpkin and seafood

Ingredient

  • 2 E-fu noodles

  • 100g shelled shrimps & scallops & shelled clams & fish fillet

  • 2 mock crab sticks (diced)

  • 1/2 onion (diced)

  • sliced of button mushrooms, green peas

  • pinch pepper

  • 1 tsp grated garlic

  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 tsp salt

Sauce

Method

  1. Seed and peel the pumpkin and cut it into pieces. Steam it over boiling water for 20 minutes. Mash pumpkin while it is still hot.

  2. Melt butter in a wok. Stir in flour and add water gradually. Add evaporated milk. Stir and cook until the mashed pumpkin becomes pumpkin sauce. Set aside.

  3. Slice the fish fillet. Slice the scallops thinly. Scald with shelled shrimps, clams and sliced fish together. Marinate with salt and pepper.

  4. Cook E-fu noodles in water until done. Drain and put on a plate.

  5. Heat some oil in wok. Add all the ingredients and sauce. Stir fry.

  6. Pour the sauce onto noodles. Bake it into a preheated oven of 180℃ for 20 minutes until golden. Serve.
