Soup - Chicken with Fresh Shou Wu and Red Date Soup

Ingredient

  • 113g fresh Shou Wu

  • 1/2 chicken (about 750g)

  • 8 red dates

  • 1 slice ginger

  • salt a pinch

Method

  1. Wash Shou Wu and slice. Wash chicken and blanch. Then Rinse. Wash and core red dates.

  2. Bring suitable amount of water to the boil. Put in all ingredients and boil for 10 minutes. Turn to low heat and cook for 3 hours. Season with salt. Serve.
