Soup - Figs, Chinese Almonds and Lean Port Soup

Ingredient

  • 150g lean pork

  • 12g Chinese bitter and sweet almonds

  • 5 honey dates

  • 10 figs

Seasoning

Method

  1. Rinse and drain Chinese almonds and honey dates briefly. Trim figs (optional)

  2. Scald and rinse lean pork.

  3. Boil a pot of water. Add in all the ingredients and bring it to boil. Turn to mild heat and boil for 2 hours. Season with some salt. Dish up and serve.
