Chi中 Eng英 Chinese Dishes - Poached garoupa in stock with matrimony vine
Ingredient - 1 garpoupa (about 400g)
- 1 tbsp shredded ginger
- 1 tbsp Qi Zi
- 1 cup stock
- 1 stalk matrimony vine
- shredded spring onion

Seasoning- 1/2 tsp salt
- pepper, sesame oil
Method- Wash the garoupa and wipe dry. Pick and save only the leaves of the matrimony vine. Discard the stem. Rinse the leaves well.
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a wok. Stir fry ginger until fragrant. Add Qi Zi and pour in the stock. Bring to the boil.
- Put in the garoupa and cook for 8 minutes. Then add the leaves and boil for a moment. Dish up. Sprinkle shredded spring onion before serving.
